Welcome friends, community members, and amazing families!

Little Land Daycare is a newly renovated, licensed home daycare designed to feel like a true home away from home.

Our daycare is located entirely on the main floor of the home and offers more than 700 square feet of bright, open-concept space, thoughtfully arranged to encourage play, exploration, creativity, and learning. We also have a fully fenced backyard dedicated to our children, numerous parks, and the Guelph Pulbic Library in walking distance.

At Little Land, children are valued and respected as capable individuals. With a small group of just six children and one caregiver, each child receives personalized attention in a calm, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Nurturing the Whole Child

Our daily rhythm is designed to support the whole child. Mind, body, and heart.

Wellness and mindfulness are part of our day through stretching, simple yoga, movement, creative activities, and quiet moments. Children are also gently encouraged to practise age-appropriate self-care skills to build independence and confidence.

We are proudly screen-free and do not use battery-operated toys. Instead, children are encouraged to explore open-ended materials, use their imagination, create, build, and learn through meaningful play.

Outdoor Exploration Every Day

Outdoor time is a daily priority in all safe weather conditions.

Children have opportunities to explore our enclosed backyard and garden, take community walks, visit the local playground, and enjoy trips to the public library.

These experiences encourage movement, curiosity, confidence, and a growing connection to the world around them.

Creativity, Calm & Connection

Art and creative expression are an important part of life at Little Land.

Children are provided with opportunities to paint, draw, create, and explore a variety of materials. We focus on the process of creating, giving children space to express their own ideas while developing focus, creativity, and confidence.

Wholesome Food for Growing Children

Each day includes a wholesome lunch and two nutritious snacks, providing growing bodies and developing minds with the fuel they need to play, learn, and explore.

Most of our food is homemade - including crackers, breads, stews.... you name it, we have a recipie for it. This helps us ensure that real ingredients fuel our littles, and they can participate in some of the cooking that takes place during their day!

The goal is to create a warm, peaceful environment where children feel safe, respected, capable, and excited to learn.
